The TRACERx (TRAcking Cancer Evolution through therapy (Rx)) is a translational research study aimed at transforming our understanding of cancer evolution and take a practical step towards an era of precision medicine. NWGD worked with them to streamline and refine their branding and to create a new website to promote their important work.

subjectbrands is an innovative new experiential marketing agency based in Cape Town, working with clients across South Africa and Europe. The brief was to create a website that would speak to audiences across multiple lifestyle sectors from fashion to automotive to film. NWGD worked closely with their Senior Management team to create a design that formed a natural extension to their branding. It offers a playful navigation system, affirming their commitment to interactive marketing solutions, while presenting this formidable company as a serious new player in this crowded market.

NWGD has worked with their senior management team to create concise and clear publications designed to promote the effectiveness of their techniques to government and NGO’s across Africa. Additional work in this long-term partnership has included T-shirt designs and a series of books for young people affected by HIV Aids.

Cape Town Opera is the largest performing arts organisation in Southern Africa and have a growing international profile that required a new contemporary look. NWGD worked with their design team and internationally famous model cum photographer Josie Borain to create a season look that took their extraordinary singers as our focus. Portraits were taken to define each production and these images were then twinned with eye-catching typography and colour choices to create a bold look for the season.

Culture Connect initiates and runs art events and tours in South Africa. The brief was to create a brand identity that projected a primary focus on the contemporary art scene and one that could speak to both corporate clients and engage individual participants. NWGD collaborated with the Founder, Kate Crane Briggs, to create an emblem inspired by an inner city graffiti artwork. The resulting logo combines a dynamism that exactly reflects Culture Connect’s innovative approach to arts based events and consultancy.
